Properties: Colorless syrup liquid, odorless, sour flavour; dissolves in water and ethanol easily; Phosphoric acid is a weaker acid than sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, but stronger than acetic acid and boric acid. Easy to absorb moisture in wet air.
Application: mainly used in making phosphates, fertilizers; also be used as aluminium polishing agent, steel antirusting agent, bonderite, metal detergent, organic synthesis catalyst, dyestuff and intermediate desiccant and coagulant for rubber latex etc. food grade phosphoric acid can be used as sour agent of acidic beverage.
